Decathlon in Singapore is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to work with local and APAC stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights that translate into tangible business outcomes. You’ll join a full-stack APAC data team, connected to an international network of 300+ data practitioners globally.

The role offers hands-on ownership with coaching and feedback. You will partner with business leaders, explore data with SQL and Python, build Tableau dashboards and communicate findings to leadership,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science & Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields.
• Able to commit to a six-month full-time internship.
• Solid foundation in SQL & Python; comfortable writing multi-join queries, aggregations, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Partner with local and regional business leaders to understand the context, frame the analytic question and define success.
• Explore, clean and analyse data using SQL, Python, dbt, and other tools.
• Analyze business performance to identify drivers, patterns and opportunities.
• Design clean Tableau dashboards and automate tracking tools used by stakeholders.
• Communicate findings to business leaders and iterate based on feedback.
• Apply good analytic practices through documentation, version control, peer review and data quality checks.
• Communicate progress, risks, and blockers openly with your project leader and team.
