ExxonMobil in Singapore is seeking a Senior Market Risk professional to monitor trading risk, develop risk analytics tools, and advise the Commercial team on risk appetite and hedging strategies.

You will work with a global, high-visibility team to deliver forward-looking risk assessments, VaR analyses, and scenario testing while driving automation and data improvements across trading desks.

Qualifications

• Must have legal authorization to work in Singapore on a full-time basis.
• 5–10 years working experience in Market Risk within LNG, natural gas, power, freight, renewables and/or environmental products.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a focus on process execution.
• Leadership, communication abilities and presence in discussions with senior management.
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and modelling risk with data-driven insights.
• Experience with Excel and the Microsoft tools suite; proficiency in R, Python, SQL, VBA, Tableau or Power BI.

Responsabilités

• Market Risk advisory and stakeholder engagement with daily analysis of positions and risk limits.
• Monitor exposures, VaR, P&L and hedging signals to inform trading decisions.
• Develop and maintain risk management tools and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with traders, refinery coordinators, schedulers and operations teams.
• Lead automation initiatives and improve data infrastructure for risk analytics.
