Job summary

The Edge Partnership is assisting a leading corporate bank in Asia to hire a Senior Credit Risk Manager based in Singapore. You will oversee credit approval and review for mid-to-large corporate loans across Asia, ensuring adherence to risk standards and regulatory requirements.

You will monitor the Singapore portfolio, mentor junior analysts, and participate in group initiatives. Proficiency in Chinese is required for North Asia communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in credit risk evaluation, portfolio monitoring, and related lending.
• Strong understanding of financial modelling, credit principles, and risk management.
• Ability to evaluate financial statements and credit reports.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Chinese (spoken and written) for North Asia communications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee credit approval and review processes for corporate loans (mid to large corporates in Asia) ensuring compliance with standards.
• Monitor performance and quality of the credit portfolio within the Singapore branch.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Mentor junior credit approvers/analysts.
• Contribute to special projects or initiatives for branch and HQ objectives.
