Shift Markets began in the traditional finance world, as a leader in the FX space. Sensing the seismic shifts taking place in the financial industry, and the disruptive power of cryptocurrencies and blockchain, we made it our mission to make these decentralized trends accessible to every business, from market leaders to small retailers.

We are growing quickly, and an opportunity has developed on our Business Development team for a Business Development Representative based in the APAC region. In this role, youʼll be responsible for driving new business through both inbound qualification and outbound prospecting, managing client accounts, and handling full-cycle sales activities to support clients across multiple time zones. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a background in FX, CFDs, crypto, or fintech who is motivated to grow in a fast-paced and evolving industry.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify and convert inbound leads across the APAC region
  • Develop and execute outbound lead generation strategies to build a strong personal pipeline
  • Identify and engage decision-makers at target accounts within the crypto, fintech, FX, and CFD spaces
  • Conduct outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person networking
  • Represent Shift Markets at relevant industry events across the APAC region
  • Manage and grow post-sale client relationships, including regular check-ins and identifying upsell opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve the sales funnel, onboarding experience, and conversion rates
  • Utilize CRM Zoho CRM preferred) to track leads, manage sales activities, and report on KPIs and OKRs


Requirements

  • Proven outbound sales experience and comfort managing full sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong understanding of outbound prospecting tools, CRM systems, and lead qualification strategies
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently across time zones
  • Located in the APAC time zone
  • Comfortable with occasional domestic and international travel for client meetings or industry events


Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in business development, lead generation, or sales (preferably in TradFi, FX, CFD, fintech, or blockchain)
  • 1 - 3 years of business development or sales experience in FX, CFDs, TradFi, or crypto
  • Bachelorʼs degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • Fluent in English
