About the Role:

Hudson Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading global organization in the commercial vehicle industry to hire a highly experienced APAC Business Controller. This role offers a unique opportunity for a strategic financial leader to drive business control functions across the APAC region. Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial management aspects, including cash flow, investments, budgeting, and financial reporting for the APAC region.
2. Collaborate with Finance Directors across APAC markets to develop budget proposals, ensure compliance, and provide access to key financial data.
3. Manage trade finance globally for Hub APAC markets.
4. Coordinate the development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets.
5. Perform risk management assessments, analyze company liabilities, and evaluate capital structures.
6. Support strategic development and financial planning for product sales across the APAC region.
7. Lead negotiations with business partners on commercial terms and conditions.
8. Implement financial best practices, ensuring a strong fiscal management framework.
9. Ensure compliance with regional financial regulations and take necessary action to meet legal requirements.
10. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization through financial analysis.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
2. CPA or equivalent financial certification preferred.
3. 8-10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within an industrial or commercial vehicle industry.
4. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
5. Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial controls.
6. Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for broader business understanding.
7. A proactive approach to financial stewardship and risk management.
8. Excellent verbal, written, and analytical communication skills.
