APAC Application Engineer Specialist

Epta is a global leader in commercial refrigeration where we provide comprehensive and innovative solutions in the refrigeration industry. As part of the company’s growth strategy in APAC, we are looking for an application engineer to support Commerce team in solution selling including system efficiency optimization and total cost of ownership.

Reporting to the local marketing manager, the selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams such as system engineering, sales and marketing teams.

Major responsibilities include:

Technical Registrations Management

• Manage technical registrations in accordance with local regulatory needs that differ based on different countries such as Australia, New Zealand etc.
• Creation of technical data sheets (product engineering data) for specific customers and projects (from the entire refrigeration system down to individual refrigeration units)
• Ad hoc technical marketing collaterals creation

Sales Conversion Support

• Analyze technical data and identify the best technological solutions to support sales proposals
• Support sales in customer presentations to provide the right solution package with particular focus on efficiency optimization and total cost of ownership
• Support other Group functions with specialized technical knowledge

Regulatory Compliance Monitoring

• Act as APAC regulatory point of contact, providing production sites and local entities with regulatory support and guidance
• Stay updated about all relevant laws, rules and regulations affecting global trade activities within the industry
• Engage with key stakeholders in external regulatory forums and industry bodies

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
• Experience in the commercial refrigeration is preferred but not mandatory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PDF Editor is a plus
• Self-motivated, team player with a keen eye for detail
• Travel in the region as required
