Meta seeks a senior communications leader to shape the external narrative around AI and innovation across APAC. You will develop and execute high-impact strategies that illuminate Meta's AI products, research, and responsible innovation for media, policymakers, partners, and the public.

You will advise APAC leadership, craft executive messaging, manage high-stakes media moments, and build a network of influential voices across the region while measuring program impact and guiding

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in external communications, public relations, or corporate communications with a focus on technology, AI, or innovation subject matter.
• Experience developing and executing multi-market communications strategies across APAC, with demonstrated ability to adapt messaging for culturally and linguistically diverse audiences.
• Experience managing complex, high-visibility communications programs involving AI, emerging technology, or research-driven narratives for a global technology company or equivalent organization.
• Track record of building and sustaining influential media and stakeholder relationships across multiple APAC markets and driving measurable earned media outcomes.
• Experience advising and influencing senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on communications strategy, messaging, and reputational risk management.

Responsabilités

• Develop and lead regional AI and innovation communications strategy across APAC, adapting global narratives for local markets.
• Build and manage relationships with top-tier technology, business, and policy media across APAC.
• Advise APAC leadership and cross-functional teams on AI announcements and issues.
• Craft executive messaging, briefing materials, op-eds, press statements, and thought leadership.
• Identify emerging AI narratives and reputational risks; develop proactive and reactive plans.
• Collaborate with global teams to integrate APAC perspectives into AI communications.
• Manage high-stakes media moments including product launches, research, regulatory developments, crisis communications.
• Build and maintain a network of journalists, analysts, researchers, and industry voices.
• Develop measurement frameworks to evaluate AI communications and drive data-driven improvements.
• Coach communications colleagues and partners on AI messaging and storytelling best practices.
