Job summary

DSO National Laboratories in Singapore seeks an Assistant Engineer for Antenna Development to assemble, test, and validate hardware prototypes. You will create 2D drawings and 3D CAD models, support design modifications, and assist with PCB layout under engineer supervision.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
Familiarity with electronic hardware assembly and testing equipment.
Basic PCB layout knowledge preferred.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assemble, integrate, and test hardware systems and prototypes.
Perform troubleshooting, testing, and validation of hardware assemblies.
Set up test equipment and execute measurement procedures (e.g. EM range measurement).
Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for engineering designs.
Support design modifications and engineering documentation. Maintain accurate records of testing results and design updates.
Assist in basic PCB layout design, review, and implementation.
Work closely with engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
