Job Title: Animator Mentor (Feature Film Project)

About the Role

We’re creating a groundbreaking feature-length animation and seeking a passionate Animator Mentor to lead and develop a small team of interns with us. This role blends hands-on animation work with mentorship, offering a unique opportunity to shape emerging talent while experimenting with cutting-edge techniques (including AI workflows). You’ll guide interns through the full animation pipeline while contributing creatively to our project.

Key Responsibilities

• Innovation & AI Integration:
  Experiment with AI-assisted animation tools to optimize workflows (e.g., generative assets, motion synthesis).
  Share AI-driven techniques with the team and document learnings

• Mentorship & Leadership:
  Guide and supervise a team of animation interns in industry-standard techniques (2D/3D, storyboarding, rigging, etc.).
  Conduct workshops, reviews, and feedback sessions to build interns’ technical and creative skills.
  Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and productive team environment.

• Project Execution:
  Contribute to a full-feature animation production across key stages (pre-production to post).
  Ensure deliverables align with the Director’s creative vision and project timelines.

• Professional Development:
  Build your professional brand with company support (e.g., creating social media contents).
  Access resources for continuous learning in animation technology and mentorship.

Who We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

• Working experience in animation production (short films, features, or series).
Strong grasp of animation principles and industry pipelines (storyboarding
• final render).
• Friendly and patient leader.
• Eagerness to experiment with Gen AI animation tools.
• Portfolio demonstrating animation skills and creative problem-solving.
• Self-directed to learn and produce results.
• Systematic in approach and documentation of process.

Bonus Qualifications (Not Required):

• Experience mentoring junior artists or interns.
• Social media presence showcasing animation/creative work
• Familiarity with AI animation tools.
• Diploma in Animation/Film/Design (or equivalent practical experience).
