Qualifications

• SNB-registered nurse.
• At least 2 years' experience in the operating room or anesthesia unit.
• Scrub nurse experience is a plus.

• Review patient history and prepare OT and anaesthesia kits.
• Assist with induction, maintenance of anaesthesia, and monitor vitals.
• Support post-op recovery and maintain document accuracy.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Pre‑operative assessment: review patient history, allergies; prepare OT and anaesthesia kits
• Assist with induction & maintenance of anaesthesia; monitor vitals intra‑op
• Post-op recovery support — transfer, monitor, liaise with PACU/surgical teams
• Maintain sterility, manage instrument/equipment counts & disposables
• Document care accurately, manage drug stocks and controlled substances
• Provide leadership: mentor junior staff & uphold infection control standards

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing (SNB-accredited); SNB-registered
• At least 2 years' OR/AU experience (scrub nurse experience a plus)
