Job summary

NetEase Games is seeking an enthusiastic Android developer to contribute to its Android productivity applications. You will work with senior engineers to implement features using Kotlin and Jetpack, gradually taking full ownership of modules from design to delivery.

Ideal candidates have strong CS fundamentals, experience with Java/Kotlin or C++, and are comfortable collaborating with PMs and designers. Mandarin daily communication and basic English skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; expected graduation in 2027.
• Solid computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OS, networks.
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin or C++.
• Basic Android development capabilities and components.
• Hands-on project experience or internship work valued.
• Strong problem-solving and self-learning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and iterate features for Android productivity applications under guidance from senior engineers.
• Learn and implement modern Android tech stack including Kotlin, Jetpack components and Jetpack Compose.
• Take ownership of independent feature modules and deliver end-to-end implementations.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Monitor runtime performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, fully tested code following team standards.
