Job summary

BJAK is expanding its Android team to deliver smart, reliable mobile experiences for millions in the region. We are seeking Android engineers who care about clean user flows, fast performance and high product quality.

You will own features end-to-end using Kotlin, integrate backend APIs, collaborate with product and design, and ship production-ready updates from Singapore, remotely, serving customers across the market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Strong Android fundamentals and production app experience.
• Knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, modern Android architecture.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.
• Fast execution, high ownership and strong attention to product quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin.
• Create clean mobile flows for core services.
• Work with product and design to simplify journeys.
• Integrate backend APIs and ensure stability.
• Improve performance, crash rate, loading states and memory usage.
