Job summary

A leading software solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced tester for Android platform compliance testing. Candidates should have 4 to 7 years of Android testing experience, be self-driven, and demonstrate a passion for superior software quality. Responsibilities include executing various test cases, supporting bug analysis, and participating in test automation. A relevant degree (BE/B.Tech or equivalent) is required.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in Android Testing.
• Process-oriented with high standards in Test artifacts.
• Ability to support bug fix verifications and re-run test cases.

Responsibilities

• Follow Agile methodologies and execute various test cases.
• Record Test execution results and create SW bug reports.
• Participate in new features use-case design and test case development.

Android Platform Compliance TestingExperience: 4 to 7 yearsSkills Required Android Mobile UE Testing experience Self-learner, passionate, attitude to break-the-code, strive towards superior SW quality with zero defects Technically sound domain knowledge of Android architecture & its components Well versed in Android functional and non-functional testing Process oriented, generate Test artifacts & deliverables of high standardsResponsibilities Follow Agile methodologies, data driven approach based testing Execute the Platform Smoke, Sanity Test cases Run the Platform and Component Regression Test suites Perform UI/UX, Stability, Exploratory, end-Consumer usability tests Google and Motorola Compliance test execution KPI performance, Current drain, Thermal measurement testing Execute any other platform tests identified by the project lead Record the Test execution results and create SW bug reports Should be able to create and review test reports Provide proper documentation with supporting data & logs for the defect analysis Support bug fix verifications and re-run the test cases Work in Test case automation and test script development Participate in new features use-case design, test case development and reviews Aware of latest mobile technologies, trends & conceptsDesired QualificationBE / B.Tech (CSE), ME/M.Tech.
