Job summary

DXC Technology Philippines is seeking an Mobile Applications Developer (Android) to analyze, design, develop, and support Android apps. You will translate UI/UX designs into scalable code, ensure performance, and collaborate with backend and QA in an Agile setting.

The role requires 3–5 years of Android development, proficiency in Kotlin/Java, and experience with RESTful APIs, offline storage, and performance tuning. Singapore Citizens must be eligible for government security clearance (CAT 1).

Qualifications

• This role requires Android development experience using Kotlin/Java.
• Strong understanding of Android UI/UX and Material Design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and data storage on-device.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, implement and provide post-production support for Android apps.
• Translate UI/UX designs into scalable code.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance Android applications.
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance and ensure quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with backend, QA and business teams in Agile delivery.
