The Engineering Team at Traveloka is the backbone of our innovation, building scalable and high-performance systems that power millions of users worldwide. As an Android Engineer, you will collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and enhance our Android app, providing an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise, tackle technical challenges, and deliver top-tier mobile experiences.

What You’ll be Doing:

1. Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining Android applications.
2. Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
3. Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and product teams to implement new features and improve existing ones.
4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to process improvements.
5. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
6. Stay updated with the latest Android technologies, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a reputable university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in Android development.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java, with strong knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack components.
• Experience with Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, MVI) and asynchronous programming (Coroutines, RxJava).
• Skilled in RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and Google Play Store release management.
• Proven ability to design, optimize, and scale Android applications focusing on performance and security.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and automated testing (JUnit, Espresso).
• Exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform and contributions to open-source projects or personal portfolio.
