Job summary

TRINITY CONSULTING SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Android engineer to own production Kotlin code, work with legacy Java, and contribute to multi‑module applications while upholding strong security standards.

You will focus on robust lifecycle handling, performance optimization, and comprehensive troubleshooting of ANRs, crashes, and device/OS compatibility in a banking/secure context, with a pathway to CI/CD ownership.

Qualifications

• Kotlin/Android development with production experience.
• Deep understanding of Activity/Fragment lifecycles and multi-module apps.
• Experience with Coroutines, Flow, and memory management.
• Knowledge of Android Keystore, biometric prompts, permissions and security best practices.
• Ability to diagnose ANRs, crashes and performance issues independently.

Job description

Must-have requirements (all five mandatory):

• Kotlin Development: 4+ years of commercial Android development, with hands-on production Kotlin coding in the last 12 months. Comfortable working with existing Java codebases.
• Android SDK & Architecture: Strong understanding of Activity/Fragment lifecycles, process death, state restoration, background execution, back-stack management and multi-module applications. Compose experience, especially View-based integration, is preferred.
• Concurrency & Memory Management : Hands-on experience with Coroutines, Flow, structured concurrency, thread management, race conditions, memory leaks and heap analysis.
• Android Security: Experience with Android Keystore, encrypted storage, BiometricPrompt, certificate pinning, permissions, scoped storage and root/tamper detection.
• Production Troubleshooting: Proven ability to independently diagnose and resolve ANRs, crashes, performance issues, startup delays, jank and device/OS compatibility issues.

Strongly Preferred:

• Android SDK/Target API upgrades and Play Store compliance.
• App Links, deep linking and Digital Asset Links.
• WebView/Chromium compatibility and native-web integrations.
• Banking, fintech, wallets or other secure, high-volume applications.
• Internal SDK, design system or framework development.
• Mobile monitoring, crash analytics and performance instrumentation.
• CI/CD pipeline ownership and native test automation.

Experience: Minimum 4+ years of hands‑on commercial Android development.
