Job summary

Google Singapore is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead cross‑functional software engineering efforts across platforms and devices, including AI-driven initiatives to protect the Android ecosystem. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and optimizing ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Manage evolution of the review platform and safeguard the Android app ecosystem.
• Collaborate with technical leads across global sites to define goals, directions, and priorities.
• Design, guide and vet system designs and contribute code to solve problems.
• Triage issues and debug/resolve impacts on hardware, network or service operations.
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
