Overview of Division/Department
Our Remittance, Deposits & Treasury Ops (RDT), a member of our Singapore Administration Department is responsible for processing customers and interbank transactions; such as remittances, foreign exchange, derivatives, securities, time deposits, structured deposits, domestic transactions and settlements.
Additionally, RDT also handles opening of account, online banking, cash pooling/sweeping, issuance of Certificate of Balance and Mark-to-Market.
The section comprises the Remittance Team, Deposits Team & Treasury Team.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day transactions relating to cross-border remittances, interbank, MEPS and internal fund transfer
- Perform SWIFT & MEPS payments and conduct 1st level AML check
- Perform data entries, investigations and account reconciliations
- Prepare ad-hoc and monthly reports for Head Office, regulatory or internal reporting
- Liaise with business units and/or customers on discrepancy, delay or non-receipt of fund
- Participate in system testing, project initiation and implementation
- Manage RPA to ensure the bot performs its intended assignment
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of SWIFT messages such as MT103, MT202, MT202COV
- Knowledge of local regulatory and AML/CFT
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel formulas, pivot table, charts
- Knowledge of RPA script writing using UiPath, Python, PHP (added advantage)
- Able to work independently when under pressure with high volume transactions and currencies cutoff time
- Able to multi-task across functions
- Interpersonal and communication skills
