Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. is seeking a QC-Analyst in Singapore to perform timely testing and analysis of in-process and final product samples in accordance with SOPs and cGMP.

The role supports lab operations, sample logistics and analytical methods such as HPLC and spectroscopy, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You will prioritize testing, document results, troubleshoot methods, participate in method transfers and qualification, and assist with equipment/reagent management.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Chemistry, Science field or equivalent.
• Relevant lab experience in biotech/medical field preferred.
• Knowledge of HPLC, Empower, CE, TOC, Osmolality and protein concentration methods.
• Experience with spectroscopy and chromatography methods.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and perform testing/analysis to support business requirements.
• Analyze bulk/product samples per SOPs and test methods.
• Document results in accordance with cGMP.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and equipment.
• Participate in method transfers and validation.
• Involved in equipment qualification and selection of QC standards.
• Conduct assay trend analysis and document revisions.
• Provide general lab support and manage supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

As a QC-Analyst you will performs timely testing and analysis of in-process and final product samples in compliance with SOPs and cGMP, ensuring accurate documentation and data integrity. Supports lab operations, sample logistics, and analytical methods (e.g., HPLC, spectroscopy), while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What we will do

• To prioritize and perform the various testing/analysis in timely manner, in order to support the business requirements.
• Analysis of bulk product, in-process or stability samples, according to Standard Operating Procedures and Test Methods.
• Documentation of results in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Problem solving of analytical methods as well as troubleshooting of equipment.
• Involvement in method transfers and validation.
• Involved in equipment qualification and technical selection of QC equipment and/or standards and reagents.
• Assay trend analysis, document revision and update.
• General lab support including housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory of supplies, lab supplies ordering, management of glass wares etc.
• Any other duties as assigned by your Supervisor/Manager

What we are looking for

• Degree/Diploma in a relevant Chemistry, Science field or Equivalent.
• Relevant work experience preferably with Lab experience in a biotech or medically related field.
• Good understanding of HPLC, Empower software, Capillary Electrophoresis (CE), TOC, Osmolality, Protein concentration (A280 or SoloVPE) and other physiochemical methods.
• Provide support in equipment maintenance and qualification.
• Understanding and execution of spectroscopy, and other assigned methods which may include chromatography methods (HPLC), Protein concentration (A280 or SoloVPE) and other physiochemical methods.
• Willing to work 12 hours rotating shift
