Responsibilities
  1. Originate and promote project finance transactions/business within APAC and improve revenue growth while complying with rules, regulations, and internal guidelines as the 1st line of Defence.
  2. Support the monitoring of project finance transactions and provide post-closing maintenance for the transactions.
  3. By liaising with stakeholders in Tokyo Head Office, particularly Solution Products Division, formulate and promote business growth strategies for project finance business in various markets within Asia Pacific.
  4. Build relationships with internal and external customers/stakeholders and earn trust by delivering quality work.
Requirements
  1. Minimum JLPT N1 Certification, a degree from a Japanese university or equivalent required to effectively communicate with Japanese stakeholders and senior management in Tokyo Head Office and across APAC.
  2. Experience in relationship management within the corporate banking industry.
  3. At least two years of project finance experience within the banking and finance industry.
  4. Excel skills to handle several spreadsheets properly (pivot table, vlookup, etc.) and PowerPoint/Word skills to create various reports.
  5. A team player who is able to work/collaborate well with various stakeholders in a large Tokyo-based Japanese organization with adequate communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
  6. Presentation skills to effectively communicate with internal overseas stakeholders including management members of the Bank.
  7. Accuracy of work to complete the duties to support management and other marketing staff.
  8. Understanding and willingness to work closely with the relevant Japanese Corporate primary offices and stakeholders in Japan.
  9. Good understanding and business experience towards/with Japanese financial institutions.
