Job description

Reporting to the Software Development Senior Manager (Customer Applications), the candidate will be part of the in-house software development team, primarily providing user support and liaison.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily operational support and user liaison

  • Review logs, identify issues and perform troubleshooting

  • Perform basic development, testing, enhancement and maintenance of in-house developed application softwareC

  • Reproduce reported problem, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with developer team for resolution

  • Track and manage application issues through a ticketing system, ensuring timely escalation when necessary

  • Assist in system configuration setup and changes

  • Stay up to date with latest relevant technologies

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development and/or user support environment.

  • Understanding of Java, Servlet, SQL, HTML, JSP, JavaScript, CSS, HTTP Protocol.

  • Proficient in English and Chinese – as required to liaise with mandarin speaking counterparts.
