Business Function

EFSU (Equipment Financing Support Unit) provides equipment and vehicle Hire purchase financing including Block Discounting and Floor Stock facility to a large group of car dealers. We liaise with different units in the Bank to ensure a smooth loan disbursement process.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a self-starter with strong documentation skills, independent and able to rise to challenges and meet deadlines effectively. The candidate is to:

• Perform technical & compliance checks of Block Discounting / Floor Stock / HP
• drawdown requests, invoices and supporting documents received and ensure that they are in order.
• Perform post-acceptance technical verification & compliance checks of accepted
• Letters of Offer and all in-house documents received.
• Conduct online vehicle valuation for vehicle cases.
• Conduct encumbrance searches on the vehicles and equipment & enhanced searches
• (bankruptcy, etc) on Borrower / Guarantor.
• Prepare letters for the appointment of Lawyers where required.
• Liaise and follow-up with Relationship Managers, Customers / Car Dealers for
• submission of drawdown requests, invoices, and other supporting documents.
• Liaise with internal departments for, Block Discounting / Floor Stock / HP activation /
• disbursement / extension of Floor Stock.
• Arrange to send for safekeeping and archival of documents for post disbursement.

Requirements

• Preferable to have minimum 1-3 years of work experience in Hire purchase loan
• Strong in data extraction and analytical skill.
• Market and business knowledge in Hire purchase is preferred.
• Able to adapt quickly and work in a fast-paced environment with tight datelines.
