Job summary

Abaxx Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Technology Governance Analyst / Senior Analyst to support governance and risk management across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

You will work with Technology, Compliance, Audit teams to maintain frameworks, track risks, support audits, and report on governance metrics, while driving continuous improvement and awareness across functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in technology governance, risk management or IT audit.
• Hands-on experience with IT change management and governance tools.
• Familiarity with MAS regulations on technology risk and cyber security.
• Knowledge of ISO27001 / SOC2 is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

We are seeking a Technology Governance Analyst / Senior Analyst to join our Technology Governance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting technology governance and oversight across the organization, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to technology governance, operational resilience, cybersecurity governance, regulatory compliance, and technology risk management within a highly regulated financial market infrastructure environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and enhancement of Technology Governance frameworks, standards, policies, and procedures.

• Assist in periodic review and update of technology-related policies to ensure alignment with regulatory and business requirements.

• Track governance obligations and manage policy exception processes.

• Facilitate policy attestation and awareness activities across technology functions.

Risk & Control Governance

• Support technology risk assessments and control reviews.

• Monitor and track technology-related risks, issues, and remediation actions.

• Monitor compliance with technology policies, standards, and control requirements.

Regulatory & Audit Support

• Support responses to regulatory reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.

• Coordinate evidence collection and documentation for internal and external audits.

• Track audit findings and management action plans to ensure timely closure.

• Assist in assessing the impact of regulatory changes on technology governance processes.

Reporting & Metrics

• Prepare regular governance reports and management information (MI) for stakeholders.

• Support KRIs and governance metrics reporting to relevant internal stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Technology, Compliance, Business, and Internal & External Audit teams.

• Act as a point of coordination for governance-related activities.

• Support awareness and communication initiatives to strengthen governance culture.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve governance processes, reporting, and controls.

• Support implementation of governance-related technology and workflow tools.

• Promote adoption of industry best practices and regulatory expectations.

Must-HavesRequirements

• Minimally 2 years of work experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Technology Governance, Risk Management / Audit

• IT Risk Management

• Information Security Governance

• Technology Regulatory Compliance

• Hands-on experience in IT Change Management processes and controls, including implementation and administration of workflow and governance tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent platforms.

• Experience in vulnerability governance and remediation tracking across infrastructure, platform (PaaS), and application environments, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders to ensure timely risk mitigation and compliance.

• Good understanding and appreciation of IT Governance principles and frameworks.

• Ability to concurrently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Self-motivated and independent individual with a continuous learning mindset.

• Excellent problem-solving. critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills.

Great to HaveRequirements

• Familiar with MAS regulations on areas of Technology Risk Management and Cyber Security.

• Familiar with ISO27001 and SOC2 requirements.

• Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP etc.

• Have leveraged off the use of AI to improve efficiency.
