Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Finance FP&A Analyst to support financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for corporate functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a degree in Finance or Accounting, and experience in financial planning. You will work closely with function heads to provide insights and ensure accuracy in financial reporting while meeting tight deadlines.

Job description

You will support the finance FP&A team in performing financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting for the corporate functions. Your work will entail supporting the various corporate function heads in provision of financial analysis and forecasting.

You will need to:

  • Support month-end close activities by reviewing the corporate function financials for errors before the financial close and performing actual cost allocation.
  • Analyse monthly results and business drivers, and prepare monthly reports for review with the corporate function heads on their performance.
  • Updating forecasts for the corporate functions based on feedback from the respective heads.
  • Assist the corporate function heads in the annual budgeting process.
  • Handle other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years in Financial Planning and Analysis experience
  • Minimum Degree in Finance / Accounting from local University or equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Prior experience with Just Perform, SAP, and Power BI is an added advantage
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Meticulous with an eye for accuracy, committed, discreet, and a team player
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work with minimal supervision
