Financial & Planning Analyst at JBT Marel

At JBT Marel, your role as a Financial & Planning Analyst is crucial to our business success. As part of the Service North America team, you will report to the Director of Finance and play a key role in providing financial insights, preparing reports, and supporting strategic decision-making to optimize our performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Analyzing financial data and trends to support business decision-making processes
  2. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  3. Conducting cost-benefit analysis and profitability assessments for service offerings
  4. Assisting in developing financial models to predict future performance
  5. Collaborating with department heads to optimize budgets and meet financial goals
  6. Providing actionable insights to management based on key financial metrics
  7. Supporting financial audits and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Onestream, or similar
  • A strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles

You will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes, identify financial inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and support financial presentations for senior management.
