Overview of Division/Department

Sector-FI Section (SCT-FIS) of Asia & Oceania Corporate Banking Department is responsible for business promotion toward the financial institutions sector in the Asia and Pacific region.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist and support the Section Head and relationship managers in promoting business with Bank & Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) in the Asia and Pacific region.
2. Support efforts to maximize profits from Bank & NBFI clients for Mizuho Singapore and regional branches, helping achieve profit targets.
3. Contribute to marketing initiatives to Bank & NBFI clients and handle internal processes for originating domestic and regional business.
4. Manage internal and external procedures and reporting, including KYC/AML, onboarding, account opening, credit analysis, financial monitoring, and profit tracking.
5. Assist in executing credit transactions, maintaining credit portfolios, and conducting research and analysis on clients and markets.
6. Coordinate with middle/back offices and business partners to resolve issues and find solutions collaboratively.
7. Ensure documentation complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Good interpersonal skills and self-motivation.
• Experience in front office roles at global banks, including top-tier Singapore banks.
• Experience working with Bank & NBFI clients in Singapore and/or regional countries is preferred.
• Strong relationship management and engagement skills.
• Team spirit and a passion for business development and client expansion.
