A leading healthcare organization is seeking an analyst to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves developing databases and models to enhance healthcare outcomes through data-informed decision-making. Ideal candidates will have advanced degrees in health-related fields and relevant data science experience.
We are seeking a highly motivated and systems-minded analyst to join our multidisciplinary team at the Health Services Research Centre. You will work alongside researchers, clinicians, and operational leaders to develop impactful solutions that improve healthcare delivery and outcomes in Singapore and the region.
In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and application of robust databases, algorithms and simulation models that support data-informed decision-making. You will play a key role in advancing health services research and grant-funded innovation projects, and contribute to funding proposals, scientific publications, and health policy reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Health Services Research, Systems Engineering, Computational Statistics, Business Analytics, Public Health, or related disciplines
Minimum 3 years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably in a healthcare or public sector context
Demonstrated experience in health systems modeling, simulation, or discrete event/system dynamics modeling is strongly preferred
Knowledge of biostatistics, epidemiology, health economics, implementation science and/or systems engineering methodologies would be advantageous
Proficiency in major programming languages such as R/Python is necessary
Possesses prior experience in machine learning, natural language processing, or Generative AI and prompt engineering
Strong problem-solving, analytical and systems thinking skills with a passion for improving healthcare delivery
Independent, curious, and adaptable – with a growth mindset and drive to apply new technologies in a dynamic healthcare landscape
