Analyst - Corporate Development & Investment

Job Responsibilities

• Source, identify, evaluate and analyse investment opportunities

• Support efforts to develop investment strategy and generate deal flow pipeline including proprietary and brokered deals

• Interface and collaborate with external consultants, partners and internal teams (i.e. Finance, Legal, Asset Management) to conduct due diligence, deal documentation for proposed transactions to ensure smooth deal execution in timely and orderly manner

• Support to prepare investments/ divestments paper and presentation including financial modelling, feasibilities studies, sensitivity analysis, business proposal, evaluation of funding options and deal structuring for proposed transaction

• Generate consolidation reports monthly, quarterly and yearly performance indicators and analyse results of existing investments against budget, prior years’ performance or industry and market benchmarks

• Assist to engage internal stakeholders to review, query and evaluate performance indicators and results to articulate business issues and facilitate the formulation of action plans and strategy to improve business performance

• Monitor, analyse and conduct real estate and financial markets research to support investments/ divestments proposal

• Managing market intelligence, collating and analyse real estate and macroeconomics market information to maintain a dependable database and research library to be used for formulating business strategy and feasibility studies

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Real Estate or equivalent

• At least 5 years of experience in business development and investment

• Candidate must be from Property or Real Estate Industry, preferably from Developer or REITs

• Comprehensive understanding of real estate and financial markets

• Strong analytical/ critical thinking skills, resourceful and business acumen

• Excellent in building financial models for performance analysis, valuation modelling, feasibility studies and / or market research

• Ability to work independently in a team and fast-paced environment

• Good project management skills and ability to multi-task

• Strong command of written and oral English

• Effective communication and presentation skills
