Funds & Co-Investments Group Asia (FCG Asia)

FCG Asia manages GIC’s relationships with key private equity managers in Asia, primarily investing in buyout and growth funds and co-investing alongside fund managers.

We are seeking a candidate for our Asia Funds & Co-investments team in Singapore as an Analyst/Associate. The role involves working on fund investments and co-investments across different countries and industries, with opportunities to collaborate with the Direct Investment team.

This is a 3-year fixed-term position with full employment benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deal Underwriting: Diligence and execution of fund commitments and co-investments, working with small deal teams, and collaborating with the Direct Investment team on co-bid situations.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Maintain relationships with fund managers and co-investments, represent the team at conferences and meetings with senior managers and portfolio companies.
• Market Coverage: Focus on India, with exposure to other regions and sectors within Asia Private Equity.
• Special Projects: Collaborate on projects related to investment strategy, portfolio, and risk management.

Candidate Profile

• 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or private equity, with a strong academic background.
• Excellent financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, integrity, and ability to interact with senior professionals.
• Good communication and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Prior experience in India investments is advantageous.
