Main Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed transactional, financial and credit analysis, producing transaction and credit reports and memos for internal valuation process
- Prepare presentation materials for client meetings, covering topics such as strategic alternatives and capital markets activity
- Build detailed financial, market and credit models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential capital market transactions or M&A transactions
- Perform extensive valuation / credit analysis and deal due diligence
- Conduct extensive industry / company research and financial analysis
- Coordinate execution efforts with deal team members across the Bank
- Provide support to senior investment banking professionals to develop marketing leads and ideas to generate new business
- Attend client meetings (when possible)
- Provide guidance to Analyst level bankers (Associate position)
Required Skills:
- Masters/University Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience (Associate position) in an Investment Banking/Big 4 Accounting Firms/ PE
- Strong financial modelling aptitude and advanced knowledge in valuation (DCF / LBO)
- Thorough understanding of corporate finance products and deal execution processes
- Strong critical thinking with the ability to evaluate companies and financial information quickly and accurately
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong work ethics, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and also a good team player
