Job description

What You'll Do:

  1. Safeguard the Group's strategic and commercial interests in its core regulated electricity businesses and ensure compliance of business units across the Group with relevant regulations.
  2. Engage with government agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver the capital investments and returns for our core regulated electricity businesses in Singapore.
  3. Perform market research on regulatory policies and analyse regulatory developments in local and overseas markets.
  4. Conduct commercial reviews and returns analysis, prepare financial models, and develop management papers or presentations for Management and the Board.
  5. Support revenue and tariff scenario analysis, commercial review, and risk assessment.
  6. Participate in special projects and other initiatives led by the department.
  7. Monitor and ensure the timely completion of project deliverables.
  8. Prepare regular update reports on Regulatory Management activities.

What You'll Need:

  1. Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
  2. Preferably 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Experience in a utility or infrastructure industry, with some background in commercial/financial analysis and economic regulation, would be advantageous.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Strong business and commercial acumen with good initiative and being a self-starter.
  6. Excellent communication and business writing skills.
  7. Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; some familiarity with programming tools, SQL, and Power BI would be advantageous.
