PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced technical leader to define architecture for AML platforms, integrating with core banking and payment systems and delivering scalable multi-market solutions across APAC.

The role requires hands‑on guidance and strong banking domain knowledge (AML, KYC & Compliance), coordinating distributed teams, vendors, and stakeholders to meet regulatory and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in solution design, integration, and implementation within technical roles.
• Experience in the international banking sector, with AML, KYC & Compliance focus.
• Experience leading technical delivery of large-scale, multi-market platform implementations in banking/financial services.
• Proven track record overseeing solution design, integration, and end-to-end technical implementation for banking platforms.
• Deep knowledge of cross-border payment products, high-value transactions, and payment processing systems.
• In-depth knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements for platform technology in finance.

Responsibilities

• Role requires expertise in integration, implementation, and functional knowledge of AML systems (Firco, and payment products, combined with a strong background in international banking exposure and APAC market experience
• Define the technical strategy and architecture for the AML platforms implementation, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT standards and business objectives
• Provide hands‑on technical guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, integration, and system design
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions, ensuring seamless integration with core banking systems and payment platforms
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and operations teams to optimize solution performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Ensure the adoption of modern technologies, including APIs, microservices architecture, and industry‑leading methodologies, to enhance system reliability and efficiency
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high‑quality deliverables that meet business and regulatory requirements
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure robust and scalable solutions
• Drive automation and technology best practices to enhance delivery speed, system resilience, and operational efficiency
• Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure alignment between technical and business objectives
• Act as the primary technical liaison between internal teams and platform vendors, ensuring smooth integration and issue resolution
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation in AML products
• Document best practices, technical standards, and lessons learned to support future implementations and organizational knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Experience in technical roles, including solution design, integration, and implementation
• Experience in the international banking sector, with a focus on AML, KYC & Compliance
• Experience leading technical delivery of large‑scale, multi‑market platform implementations in the international banking or financial services sector
• Proven track record in overseeing solution design, integration, and end‑to‑end technical implementation for banking platforms
• Deep knowledge of cross‑border payment products, including high‑value transactions and payment processing systems
• In‑depth knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements for platform technology in the financial sector
• Ability to manage and collaborate with geographically distributed teams across multiple APAC markets
