Job summary

Bank of China Limited in Singapore is seeking a finance professional to perform quantitative and structural balance sheet analysis, support annual and medium-term budgets, and assist in budget allocation to business units. The role also covers NIM analysis, reporting, and ALCO Secretariat duties.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant experience in asset and liability management, finance, and management reporting, with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and structural analysis of the Bank’s balance sheet, including asset and liability composition, maturity structure and pricing changes.
• Support the preparation and periodic review of annual and medium-term asset and liability budgets, including key balance sheet indicators.
• Assist in the allocation of asset and liability budget targets to business units, and monitor budget execution against approved plans.
• Support the implementation of Head Office asset and liability–related performance assessment frameworks, including data preparation, calculation and analysis of assessment results, formulating detailed plan for business units to execute.
• Conduct Net Interest Margin (NIM) and interest income analysis to support management assessment of balance sheet performance.
• Prepare analytical materials, management reports and presentation decks for Senior Management and the Asset & Liability Committee (ALCO).
• Support ALCO operations as Secretariat, including coordination of agendas, consolidation of materials and preparation of meeting minutes.
