Allocation Analyst - 6 months

Duration: 6 months contract

Location: The Metropolis

Salary:Up to $6000

Timing:Monday to Friday: Office hour

Responsibilities:

• Translate seasonal buy plans into orders to stores.

• Support the negotiation process of the monthly replenishment budget by highlighting the real needs.

• Ensure the right stock in the right stores based on latest sell-out trends and customer replenishment budget.

• Anticipate stocks needs aligned with the company’s sales and product strategies, the sell-out trends and the seasonal promotional calendar (internal and external).

• Support sell-out activation initiatives through budget negotiation and replenishment management aligned to the business purpose.

• Update weekly allocation parameters to increase store/door sell-through with an automated replenishment system.

• Apply specific parameters for stock build-up for upcoming peak periods/lower trading periods in alignment within in-season trading strategy.

• Analyze the outcome of replenishment orders to ensure accurate shipments to the store and minimize workload in-store.

• Report analysis of orders and fill rate; provide ad hoc reporting needs.

• Build store opening orders for new stores.

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in Retail Allocation/Planning/Merchandising.

• Experience in Allocation is preferred.

• Technical proficiency with computer software tools and can learn new ones quickly.

• Proficient in Microsoft excel, with the ability to perform complex functions, build reports and projections.

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solver with the ability to quickly identify effects from consumer, internal, and marketplace information.

• Ability to juggle with different projects simultaneously with a high level of accuracy.

• Highly organized with excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.

• Independent, people-oriented, active listener and enjoy working with diverse teams.
