Today, Allkin supports and journeys with diverse communities such as children, youths, families, and seniors at close to 40 touchpoints across Singapore.

As a Social Worker within the agency, you may be deployed to work with various client groups, including families, elderly, children, and youth.

This is a full-time position; however, if you're unable to commit to full-time employment but can dedicate 16 to 20 hours per week, we'd be happy to have you join our team as a locum.

The roles & responsibilities of the social worker include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct triage and intake services for community members.
  • Provide casework and counselling interventions for individuals and families.
  • Plan and conduct group work to support beneficiaries' needs.
  • Engage in community work to build an ecosystem of assets and resources.
  • Engage and advocate with systems and stakeholders in the community.
  • Strategize and coordinate interventions to support beneficiaries.
  • Assist with company projects or report submissions.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the HOD/supervisor.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's / Postgraduate Diploma / Master's in Social Work.
  • Experience in areas such as casework, counselling, risk, and crisis management is preferred but not required for new entrants.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex problems efficiently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for seamless collaboration with diverse groups.
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening, concise articulation, and effective teamwork.
  • Passionate about uplifting vulnerable individuals and building thriving communities.
