Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Product Marketing Specialist with a minimum of 8 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in AI, cloud computing, or related fields. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI technologies, market trends, and customer needs, as well as the ability to craft compelling marketing strategies that drive business growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for Alibaba Cloud’s AI products and solutions in international markets to generate leads and acquire new SMB users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and regional marketing teams, to ensure successful product launches, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

  1. AI Product Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for Alibaba Cloud’s AI products tailored to international markets. Identify target audiences, market segments, and customer pain points to position AI products effectively. Work closely with product teams to understand product roadmaps, features, and value propositions, translating them into compelling marketing messages.
  2. International Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution: Lead end-to-end GTM campaigns for new AI product launches across multiple markets, ensuring alignment with business goals. Create marketing collateral such as whitepapers, case studies, videos, webinars, and presentations to support product launches and ongoing marketing efforts.
  3. Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends. Monitor AI market dynamics, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform product positioning and marketing strategies.
  4. Online and Website Conversion: Focus on SMB acquisition by understanding SMB decision-makers' needs and formulating effective commercialization strategies based on product, pricing, and customer segmentation. Drive customers through learning, trial, and usage phases, leading to lead generation and sales conversions. Analyze user journeys, identify conversion issues, and propose improvements.
  5. Performance Measurement & Optimization: Track campaign performance using metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI. Continuously optimize strategies based on data-driven insights to meet business objectives.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and sales teams to align marketing strategies with product capabilities and customer expectations. Partner with regional marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all markets.

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience: At least 8 years in product marketing, preferably in AI, cloud computing, SaaS, or related fields. Proven experience in online acquisition marketing with a commercial focus. Understanding of digital channels, especially websites. Successful track record of launching and marketing AI or tech products internationally. Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and marketing.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, and cloud computing. Familiarity with AI use cases across international markets and industries.

Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to create compelling marketing content. Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making. Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Chinese (spoken required, written a plus).
