Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team for the Aladdin Implementation and Configuration role. The position holder will be responsible for providing support and coordinating activities across various workstreams within the Aladdin implementation and configuration channel. This includes facilitating communication and collaboration between teams involved in implementation, configuration processes, promoting proper change management for configurations, monitoring progress, and assisting in resolving any configuration-related challenges that may arise. Additionally, the role will encompass configuring and supporting Aladdin for our Front Office traders and portfolio managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the implementation and configuration work of Aladdin.
  • Own and maintain the implementation and configuration design project artifact.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to track the configuration implementation progress, such as requirement gathering for configuring portfolios, securities, private assets, benchmarks, and other relevant data within Aladdin.
  • Act as the single point of contact from vendors for configuration related queries.
  • Ensure proper execution of the configuration processes, maintaining accurate, traceable, and up-to-date configuration data within the system.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of Aladdin configuration.
  • Assist users in performing UAT on all the front office modules within Aladdin.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues, working closely with the vendor implementation team and internal workstreams.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to implementation, configuration processes, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Aladdin configuration with other systems and processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience working on Aladdin implementation projects is a must.
  • Strong experience in implementing and configuring the Aladdin system, including portfolio setup, security setup, and other related configuration processes.
  • Understanding of the full end-to-end investment process for asset manager.
  • Prior experience in supporting traders / portfolio managers of any financial institution will be a definite advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of financial concepts, investment products, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in data management and thoroughness in maintaining accurate and reliable data within Aladdin.
  • Familiarity with other financial information systems and their integration with Aladdin will be a strong plus.
