Job summary

Ley Choon Constructions and Engineering Pte Ltd is hiring an ADP CAT1 Driver to safely operate vehicles on airport airside, ensuring timely transport of personnel and equipment while strictly following airside rules and safety procedures.

You will coordinate with ATC, perform vehicle inspections, and support adhoc airside tasks, with shifts including mornings, nights, weekends or public holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class3/4/5 Driving Licence.
• Valid Category1 Airfield Driving Permit (ADP) issued by the airport authority.
• Knowledge of airside safety protocols and radio communication with ATC.
• Excellent safety mindset, punctuality, and ability to follow airfield procedures.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform vehicle inspections and ensure vehicle standards.
• Shift work may be required (mornings, nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles within airport airside and taxiway areas in line with airside rules.
• Transport personnel, equipment, supplies, and materials between airside locations.
• Maintain radio communication with ATC and airside control.
• Carry out pre and post operation vehicle inspections and report defects.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ADP CAT1 Driver is responsible for safely driving vehicles within controlled airport airside areas that require a Category1 Airfield Driving Permit (ADP). This role ensures timely and secure transport of equipment and personnel on airside service roads, adhering strictly to airside safety regulations and communication procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles within airport airside and taxiway areas in compliance with airside rules and guidelines.
• Transport personnel, equipment, supplies, and materials between designated airside locations.
• Maintain constant communication with Air Traffic Control (ATC) and airside control using standard radio-telephony procedures.
• Conduct pre and postoperation vehicle safety inspections and report any defects or incidents.
• Assist with adhoc airside tasks including towing or staging of ground support equipment as required.
• Comply with all airport, Civil Aviation Authority (CAAS), and safety regulations while driving and performing duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Singapore Class3/4/5 Driving Licence.
• Valid Category1 Airfield Driving Permit (ADP) issued by the airport authority.
• Demonstrated knowledge of airside safety protocols and radio communication protocol with ATC.
• Excellent safety mindset, punctuality, and ability to work within operational procedures in an airfield environment.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with vehicle standards.
• May involve shift work, including mornings, night shifts, weekends, or public holidays depending on operational requirements.
