Job description

The Operations Associate plays a key role in supporting airside inflight catering operations. This role involves supervising daily operational activities, ensuring accuracy in meal packing and loading and assisting the Duty Manager in coordinating flight schedules and handling operational disruptions. The position requires close coordination with multiple departments to ensure the timely and accurate uplift of catering items for flights.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day catering logistics to ensure every flight gets the right meals on time

• Check, pack and verify food items based on flight schedules and destination requirements

• Read and follow flight loading documents accurately to avoid any uplift issues

• Coordinate closely with team leaders to manage shift tasks and meet tight departure timelines

• Step in during operational delays or last-minute changes to keep everything running smoothly

• Monitor warehouse and ground processes to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency

• Supervise cart and meal packing teams to ensure nothing is missed or misloaded

• Take ownership when needed to lead shift activities during supervisor’s absence

• Carry out hands-on work such as loading and unloading of food carts when required

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum O'Level and above

• Team players who are reliable, flexible and ready to roll up their sleeves

• Able to communicate well and work with different teams in a fast-paced setting

• Detail-oriented, especially when handling airline-specific loading and packing

• Comfortable reading and understanding flight plans or operational sheets

• Bonus if you have experience in logistics, warehouse, or aviation support — but not a must

• Willing to work shifts (morning, afternoon, or night), including weekends and public holidays
