Job summary

A leading aviation services provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced Aircraft Technician to join their maintenance team. The role involves inspecting aircraft components, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance. Candidates should have at least 5 years of documented aircraft maintenance experience and preferably hold an ITE or GCE ‘O’ Level in Aerospace Engineering. Job description

Position Description

As a Aircraft Technician at Fokker Services, you will be working closing with a part of our dedicated maintenance team and will be responsible for successfully carrying our variety of maintenance tasks on an aircraft in accordance with Fokker Services procedure and aviation regulations.

Part A - Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Inspect and examine aircraft components for leaks, cracks, breaks or other issues.

  • Read and utilize maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.

  • Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, gaskets, and seals.

  • Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of equipment’s and aircraft components.

  • Interpret specifications, or diagrams to inform installation, development or operation activities.

  • Perform regular inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments and wear

  • Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company

  • Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns

  • Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance

  • Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures and ordered parts.

Part B. Required Experience, Competencies & Qualifications

  • Minimum ITE holder or GCE ‘O’ Level or Aerospace Engineering

  • At least 5 years of experiences practical and documented aircraft maintenance experience

  • Those with experience on any of the following type B737,A320,Fokker 100 & ATR would be an added advantage.

  • Knowledge in Base Maintenance activities would be an added advantage

  • Willing to work in MRO Hanger environment with hand-on skills.
