An established aerospace organisation is looking for anAircraft Quality Engineer / Airworthiness Engineerto join its aircraft maintenance and quality team.
This role is particularly suitable forlicensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs)who are looking to develop their career beyond hands-on maintenance intoaircraft quality, airworthiness, compliance and surveillance.
Previous Quality Engineer experience is not mandatory.Candidates who have recently obtained their aircraft maintenance licence and have relevant aviation experience may also be considered.
Basic Salary: $4,000 – $6,500/month
Overtime payable
Additionallicense approval allowanceupon obtaining the required approval
Monday – Friday,8:00am – 5:30pm
Mainly based in the Changi area, with occasional operational requirements at other aviation locations
Liaise with customer representatives on aircraft documentation, certification and maintenance release procedures.
Ensure aircraft documentation remains valid and compliant, including relevant registration, airworthiness, radio license, insurance and other required documents.
Conduct internal quality audits in accordance with the Quality Audit Plan and instructions from the Quality Manager.
Investigate aviation incidents, accidents, customer complaints and warranty claims.
Conductsurveillance inspectionsat various stages of aircraft maintenance work to ensure:
Correct maintenance practices
Proper housekeeping
Compliance with procedures
Accurate and complete documentation
Assist in reviewing and evaluating new or amended operator interface procedures.
Conduct reviews of applicableAirworthiness Directives (ADs).
Monitor and follow up on surveillance findings and corrective actions through to closure.
Consolidate aircraft surveillance and investigation KPIs for assigned programme.
Support the Quality Manager in maintaining aviation quality and airworthiness standards.
Carry out other quality and compliance-related duties as assigned.
Possess anAircraft Maintenance Engineer License (AMEL)issued by CAAS or a foreign equivalent recognised by CAAS.
FAAA&Por other relevant recognised aviation professional license may also be considered.
Minimum5 years of experience in the aviation industry.
Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Good knowledge ofairworthiness requirementsand/or aviation Quality Management Systems such asAS9110.
Experience in aircraft maintenance, inspection, airworthiness or aviation quality will be advantageous.
Experience conducting internal or external quality audits is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently while also working effectively within a team.
