Job summary

Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a Research Associate to develop and apply high-resolution atmospheric and air quality models. You will collect and process data, build models, and document findings for reports and peer-reviewed journals.

Ideally you have a Masters in a relevant field and proven experience in spatial modeling, land-use regression or machine learning, contributing to research with public health relevance at a premier university

Qualifications

• Masters degree in atmospheric science/geography/meteorology/environment.
• Experience in development of spatial models especially land-use regression model or machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply modeling techniques to simulate the spatial distribution of air pollutants in a city at high spatial resolution.
• Data collection, processing, model development, application, and data analyses; document results in reports and journals.
