Air Import Operations Coordinator

Step into the engine room of global trade! Just like an air traffic controller ensures flights land safely, you’ll be the one making sure goods from around the world arrive smoothly into Singapore. Join a fast-moving logistics team where every detail matters and no two days are the same.

• Salary: $2,300 – $3,100 (based on experience)
• Location: Tampines
• Contract: 1-Year Renewable (Potential for long-term opportunity)
• Leave: 14 days paid annual leave
• Working Hours: Mon–Fri: 8:30AM – 5:30PM; Sat: 8:30AM – 12:30PM (44 hours/week)

Operations & Documentation

• Handle break bulk imports and cargo arrival processes
• Sort and verify key shipping documents
• Conduct cargo checks/surveys at SATS or DNATA when required

Coordination & Customer Contact

• Liaise with customers to confirm agents and delivery plans
• Work closely with freight forwarders, contractors, and internal teams for cargo flow
• Respond to requests for cargo handling charges

System Updates & Compliance

• Update Proof of Delivery (POD) in systems
• Submit cargo manifests and ensure all permits/delivery notes are properly returned

Billing & Reporting

• Process billing and generate invoices for air imports
• Prepare monthly activity reports and handle permit declarations (both import/export)

Requirements

• Someone organized and detail-oriented — a “checklist master”
• Able to juggle multiple tasks under time pressure
• Prior experience in air freight imports is a bonus
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and logistics software
