Job summary

A recruitment consultancy in Singapore is seeking an experienced Airfreight Planner to manage shipment space and efficiencies. This role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, as well as strong negotiation skills with airlines to maintain shipment integrity. You will work closely with the sales team and provide updates to stakeholders. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm, and alternate Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years relevant experience in airfreight operations.
• Ability to work closely with airlines and freight partners.
• Experienced in preparing reports and handling RFQ/tendering.

Overview

Airfreight Planner/Mon-Fri: 9am-5.30pm, Alternate Sat: 9am-1pm @Alps Avenue

Responsibilities

• Monitor and plan space for loading of shipment to maximise efficiency.
• Follow up on status of freight and ensure that all relevent parties are update.
• Work closely with airlines on enquiries on rate, tracking and other matters.
• Creating, maintaining and reviewing the selling rate and buying from customer/ carriers
• Ensuring that all shipment are complete and uplift on time with agreed rate with customer and airline.
• Prepare progress report & profit/loss to stakeholders, and handle RFQ & tendering.
• Work with sales team and assist to advice on the best solutions.
• Knowledgeable in buying/ selling rate from customer/airlines and plan bup shipment.
• At least 2 years relevant experience
