Job summary

Coolforce Aircon in Singapore is seeking an experienced Air-Conditioning Technician to join our in-house technical team. You will perform installation, servicing, troubleshooting and repair works on residential and commercial systems.

The ideal candidate has relevant experience with split-unit and multi-split systems and can work independently or as part of a team. We provide training and opportunities to develop technical skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in air-conditioning installation, servicing or repair preferred.
• Knowledge of split-unit and multi-split systems.
• Able to troubleshoot faults independently.
• Physically demanding work, climbing ladders and working at height.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair air-conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot faults in cooling, electrical, drainage and refrigerant issues.
• Carry out general servicing and chemical overhaul.
• Install piping, trunking, and wiring.
• Conduct pressure tests, vacuuming and refrigerant charging.
• Explain findings and repairs to customers and office.
• Complete service reports and documentation.
• Maintain tools and vehicles safely.
• Follow safety procedures and keep area clean.
• Perform other air-conditioning duties as directed by the Technical Manager.

Air-Conditioning Technician

Monthly Salary: S$2,500–S$3,000

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Air-Conditioning Technician to join our in-house technical team. The successful candidate will carry out air-conditioning installation, servicing, troubleshooting and repair works at residential and commercial premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of air-conditioning systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose air-conditioning faults, including cooling, electrical, drainage and refrigerant-related issues.
• Carry out general servicing, chemical servicing and chemical overhaul.
• Install air-conditioning equipment, copper piping, drainage piping, trunking and electrical wiring.
• Conduct pressure testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging and system commissioning.
• Explain technical findings and recommended repairs clearly to customers and the office team.
• Complete service reports, job documentation and photographic records accurately.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of company tools, equipment and vehicles.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other air-conditioning-related duties assigned by the Technical Manager.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in air-conditioning installation, servicing or repair is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of split-unit and multi-split air-conditioning systems.
• Able to troubleshoot air-conditioning faults independently.
• Able to carry out physically demanding work, including climbing ladders and working at height where required.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to follow company procedures.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer-service attitude.
• Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence will be an advantage.
• Relevant technical qualifications, safety certifications or air-conditioning experience will be an advantage.
