Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, interviews, and contextual inquiries to understand user needs.
  • Create user personas, journey maps, and experience flows.
  • Translate business requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Work closely with Product Owner, developers, and stakeholders to co-design solutions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and incorporate feedback into design improvements.
  • Ensure design consistency, accessibility, and adherence to UI/UX best practices.
  • Design and execute usability test plans, including task-based testing and surveys.
  • Analyze test results to identify usability issues and propose design enhancements.
  • Support user acceptance testing by validating the implementation against design intent.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation including design systems and specifications.
  • Create user guides or onboarding materials to facilitate adoption.
  • Monitor post-implementation user experience and recommend enhancements.

Job description

The UX Experience Designer and Tester will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and accessible user experiences for AI and digital transformation initiatives.

Working closely with the Product Owner and cross-functional teams, this role ensures that user needs are translated into effective design solutions and validates these solutions through usability testing and feedback.

The designer will support both conceptual and detailed design efforts while playing a critical role in ensuring solution usability and adoption.

1. User Research and Experience Design

  • Conduct user research, interviews, and contextual inquiries to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.

  • Create user personas, journey maps, and experience flows to inform solution design.

  • Translate business and functional requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that support usability and user-centered design.

2. Collaborative Design Delivery

  1. Work closely with Product Owner, developers, and stakeholders to co-design solutions aligned with project goals.

  2. Participate in agile ceremonies and incorporate feedback from sprints and demos into iterative design improvements.

  3. Ensure design consistency, accessibility, and adherence to UI/UX best practices across AI applications.

3. Usability Testing and Feedback Loop

  1. Design and execute usability test plans, including task-based testing, A/B testing, and surveys.

  2. Analyze test results to identify usability issues, collect actionable insights, and propose design enhancements.

  3. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by validating the final implementation against design intent and user requirements.

4. Documentation and Design Assets

  1. Develop and maintain design documentation including design systems, screen specifications, and annotated prototypes.

  2. Create user guides or onboarding materials to facilitate solution adoption when needed.

5. Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  1. Monitor post-implementation user experience and recommend enhancements.

  2. Stay up to date with UX/UI trends, tools, and AI interface design patterns to inform solution improvement

Skills for Success:

  • 2–6 years of experience in UX design and testing

  • Good to have experience in AI, analytics, or process automation

  • Good to have experience in Workshop facilitation and storytelling for design justification

  • Proficiency in design tools – Figma, Usability testing techniques and Prototyping and wireframing
