Job summary

GIC, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, seeks an AVP/VP Data Scientist to join the Investment Insights Group and spearhead AI solutions transforming corporate services. You will collaborate with Finance and HR to design and deploy impactful AI projects, reporting ROI to senior stakeholders.

The role emphasizes hands-on architecture to deployment, mentoring juniors, and shaping the AI roadmap. A strong background in quantitative fields, productionizing LLM-based solutions, and cloud-native data

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field like Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Experience in productionizing LLM-based solutions in a real-world setting.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with senior leaders.
• Knowledge of AI frameworks and agentic architectures.
• Solid software engineering skills, including cloud-native deployment.
• Experience building data pipelines on platforms like AWS or Databricks.
• Ability to measure ROI and communicate it effectively.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience, including mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of AI solutions for corporate functions.
• Manage the entire production process from architecture to deployment.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape the AI roadmap.
• Design tools that connect AI agents to enterprise systems.
• Work on data pipeline design with the platform team.
