Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Generalist (Macbook User) for a remote contract role. You will develop research questions and materials to train advanced language models, gather and summarize information from diverse sources, and provide feedback to improve data quality.

The role is 10–20 hours per week with an immediate start. The ideal candidate has a Macbook with Apple Silicon, a Master's or 2–3 years of relevant experience plus a prestigious Bachelor's, and strong written communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong online research and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality research questions, answers, and evaluation materials to train AI models.
• Gather and summarize information from diverse sources to support model training.
• Provide structured feedback to improve model outputs and data quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure dataset coverage.
