We are seeking an AI Technologist to drive the exploration and application of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies for a prestigious Singapore institution. In this high-impact role, you will combine technical depth with strategic leadership to identify high-potential AI advancements, develop early-stage use cases, and shape AI adoption strategies across industry and the wider ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

As the AI Technology Lead, your key responsibilities will include scanning the technology landscape for transformative AI innovations, designing early prototypes, and developing strategies to drive adoption in priority sectors. You will collaborate with research institutions, AI startups, and enterprise partners to assess technical feasibility and commercial relevance. Internally, you will advise on national initiatives and innovation programs, support policy and funding decisions, and mentor early-career technologists. You will also lead technical evaluations and guide teams in shaping impactful AI use cases aligned with national and sectoral goals.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in AI, machine learning, or related deep tech domains. You should have hands-on experience with modern AI techniques, such as foundation models, generative AI, computer vision, or natural language processing, and be familiar with both research trends and real-world implementation. Prior management or team leadership experience is required. A PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred. You should be a strategic technologist, comfortable working across research, product, and policy, and able to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working with public agencies, startups, or cross-sector innovation programs is a plus.
