Job summary

National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking a Programme Manager within AISG’s Talent team. You will assist the Deputy Executive Chairman (Talent & Ecosystem) and Director of Talent to manage AI Research Talent projects, align governance, and coordinate with internal and external partners.

The role involves coordinating nominations, evaluations, progress monitoring, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with funding terms and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong programme/project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities, with the ability to exercise independent judgement, take initiative and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Experience in a higher education setting, AI-related initiatives or research talent development programmes will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement AI Research Talent programmes, including timelines, activities, deliverables and milestones.
• Manage concurrent programme activities and ensure timely and effective execution.
• Review and improve workflows, processes and operational efficiency.
• Administer nomination, application, evaluation, award and progress-monitoring processes.
• Coordinate evaluation and selection processes with reviewers and stakeholders.
• Maintain programme records and reporting materials for governance and audit requirements.
• Monitor programme compliance with terms, policies and funding requirements.
• Work with Director of Talent and IHLs, government agencies and stakeholders to support implementation.
• Serve as a point of contact for enquiries and coordination.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and escalate matters needing attention or decisions.
• Monitor progress, KPIs and outcomes; prepare updates and briefs for stakeholders.
• Identify risks and mitigation actions; support reviews and evaluations to assess impact.
